What people are saying about Ratio dining!
about your dining experience
All our dishes are prepared using the finest locally-sourced ingredients with the very best herbs and flavours from the far east. Please mention any food allergy, intolerance or dietary issues when booking and we can discuss the dish or menu options.
We serve 6 dishes throughout the course of the evening, each featuring a key aspect of Eastern cuisine. As we use local and seasonal fresh ingredients, the dishes can and will vary, depending availability of those ingredients. There is no menu choice as each dish is chosen by the chef in advance.
Your dining experience lasts as long as you like! We only book one sitting per evening so you and your fellow guests are never rushed into finishing each course. The sittings are always on a weekend, Friday and Saturday evenings.
6 Courses of perfection
Our typical menu includes 6 courses of food, each incorporation a specific identity or flavour of Asian cuisine. The philosophy of more courses with smaller portions allows the diner to savour each course independently without feeling too full by any one dish or course.

how it works
Make your booking
You can book up to 12 places in a sitting. If there are less than 12 in your group, there may be other guests joining you. Don’t worry though – our relaxed kitchen dining area means you’ll make new friends in no time!
Come as you are
We don’t have a dress code so come as fancy or as casual as you like. After all, it’s your night! All we ask is that you arrive on time as some of the dishes we prepare are subject to some quite unforgiving timing schedules.
Treat it like a home from home
While you are with us we like to to feel welcome and relaxed. Please treat our home as you would your own. We don’t have an alcohol license so if you’d like a drink with your meal, please bring your own.
We open our reservations at 3-monthly intervals and announce it on social media in advance. Please see the links to like and follow our page on Facebook for details. You will be able to message or call us to reserve your table but please be patient – it can get very busy!
Our dishes are freshly prepared using seasonal and locally available ingredients, so we do not have a traditional menu. We invite you to visit with an open mind and be prepared for a series of surprising and very tasty dishes!
As our dishes are prepared and served on the evening, timing is important. We ask that you arrive at 7pm so we can welcome you before the first course we usually serve at 7:30pm. After that, the night is yours! We like to close the kitchen no later than 12pm.
We can cater for a maximum of 12 people in a sitting and a minimum of 6 people for a booking. If you require fewer seats, please see our facebook page for booking updates. We’ll announce any spare sets for a sitting on our social media feeds.
If you need to cancel your booking, please give us at least 2 weeks notice. Some dishes require special orders to our suppliers so we need to know as early as possible if you or your party can’t make it.
If you or any of your party have an allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements, please let us know at the point of booking. While we try and cater for as many people as possible, sometimes the nature of the experience and the dishes mean it isn’t always possible to avoid certain ingredients.
